In the movie Requiem of the American Dream they explain that the american system, and  also explain what democracy is and how a big role  democracy  is for our government. ex: the civil rights movement, women’s rights, and they also talk about the middle class and upper class. That says a lot about how unfair that the middle class have to work for every thing they own, and the upper middle class do not have to worry to much about nothing. How unfair this system is wrong to the american people and in the end that minorities are the ones that shaped america.

In to kill a Mockingbird Tom Robinson goes on trial for being accused of raping Mayella Ewell and since then the  kids at school make fun of Scout and Jem for Atticus defending Tom calling him a nigger-lover which make Scout want to fight the kids that was making fun of her.  Just because Atticus defends Tom his kids are  quickly ridiculed for his actions. I think  his children shouldn’t be subject to abuse at school because of the actions of Atticus. During the trial, Tom did not get a fair trial even though there was evidence that he did not try to raped the girl and all the bruises she gets is from her father, but even though, he is accused and sent to jail he gets killed trying to escape custody.

It’s ashamed that the trail had to end that way. Bob Ewell’s vows revenge and spits in Atticus face he finally attack Jem and Scout. While they were going to a halloween party out of nowhere to help the two rescue and carried Jem home the mysterious stranger turns out to be Boo Radley the kid that the others called a freak. This the kid that they ridiculed, but he brought them gifts and came to there rescue them. Sheriff rules Bob Ewell’s death an accident that he just fell on his own knife. Afterwards Boo asked Scout to walk him home, they say good bye and he goes home then Scout looks threw boo perspective and feeling bad for not thanking him for the gifts he bought them.

I remember the movie The Help it follows the story of a house maid

who  lived during Jim Crow laws. It was common for black people in

the deep south to be treated with such unequal rights.  The movie

portrays  a young white woman who returns to her hometown

Jackson, Mississippi and embarks on a journey to exposed

mistreatment of the black housemaids. The young white lady name

Skeeter began to interview the house maids to get a perspective on

there views on being house maids. The treatment that they received

for being black, Skeeter felt that it needed to be heard around the

world. Skeeter wrote a book soley on their experiences and

opinions.

Which is also unequal to do such terrible things to each other. I

remember bioshock infinite, it’s a video game. The main character

goes up to a city in the sky he sees a raffle going on and he

participates and is immediately the winner of the raffle. The man

prize is to hit a black woman or white man, but before he can do

anything he was found out as being the false Shepard. The branding

on his left hand gave him away and now he’s on the run from the

police.

In the requiem of the american dream, Noam Chomsky  talks about

the economics of the american government. Also, how democracy

plays an important role in how decision making affects America. ex:

the civil rights movement, women rights  through freedom of speech

bring up by democracy these movements gotten the equality they

rightfully wanted, which ties to to kill a mockingbird. Scout, Jem and

Dill are fascinated and terrified by Arthur Boo Radley there

neighbor they judge him on how he looks rather then how he act. Its

just like racism; people would judge  other people on there looks

rather then there character.
